Cheri Crenshaw grew up in Pensacola, Florida. She received her B.A. in English from the University of Maryland University College/Asian Division in Okinawa, Japan, in 1999, her M.A. from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, in 2002, and her Ph.D. from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas, in 2008. Her dissertation, entitled “Exploiting Kairos in Electronic Literature: A Rhetorical Analysis,” examines the significance of electronic literature in understanding rhetorical techniques evolving in electronic spaces. Dr. Crenshaw has been teaching in the professional and technical writing emphasis in English at Dixie State University since 2008.
